About Diversity Conference

In 2010 the Virginia State Bar established the Diversity Conference with the approval of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The Conference provides a unique opportunity for those in the legal profession to assist in meeting the needs of an increasingly diverse population.

Our Mission

• To enhance access to law school education for diverse individuals
• To promote and maintain the quality of legal services in Virginia
• To promote diversity at all levels of the judiciary
• To promote advancement in the profession of diverse individuals
• To promote involvement of lawyers of diversity in bar involvement
• To promote involvement of lawyers of diversity in VSB governance
• To provide a forum to assist the profession and judiciary in addressing the legal needs of a diverse population
